This Just In..

Simona from Barcelona has sent me a new photo of J'accuse!

Pictured is my first participant of the afternoon - Ziggy from Iceland.

Also in the foreground, a box of Turkish delight.

How very international!

Thankyou Ziggy, and thankyou Simona!

Today I had some liquid nitrogen ice cream.

I couldn't take a picture, as there were lots of children around.

Rhymed 'prosthetic' with 'pathetic'. Bravo!

Guillermo!

The work at this year's NRLA that had the most powerful emotional effect on me was by La Pocha Nostra, fronted by the charismatic Guillermo Gómez-Peña.

Last time I saw him he was on the courtesy phone in the Glasgow Novotel gym, trying to get the running machine switched on.

"The Equipment.. It Is Not Woooorking!"

He drawled, in his imposing baritone, to what I imagine was a rather bewildered receptionist.

Here he is campaigning against the closure of the Contemporary Performance Practice course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Many great artists have graduated from the course in the past, and its loss would leave a massive gaping hole in the cultural landscape.

UPDATE: DeDomenici Blog is happy to make it clear that the above photograph was taken shortly after an unidentified woman (not pictured) kicked Richard's pint of Bulmers all over Philippa's handbag.

This picture was taken as Seth and Philippa were graciously commencing a clean-up operation.

To our knowledge, at no point over the weekend did Philippa do a wee on the floor, and any rumours to the contrary should be taken with short shrift. Anyone that knows Philippa will tell you that she has an excellent pelvic floo.. (That's enough, Ed)

I'm in Glasgow this week for the National Review of Live Art 2008, and
will be attempting to update DeDomenici Blog using my new mobile
telephone. If you can read this, then it's working. Yippee! Let's
celebrate with a photo of my severe new hairdo:

It's the colour coordination, or the sleep deprivation, that makes my luggage so cool.

This post, and the last post, is a test. Apologies.

My suitcase is so cool.
